Eddie McDonald entered the nightlife/hospitality industry in 1997 as a DJ for Andrew Sasson’s chic Jet Lounge in NYC’s Soho district. McDonald’s connection with Sasson led to his relocation to Las Vegas in 2002 to DJ exclusively for Sasson and help him establish The Light Group’s musical identity for their rapidly expanding portfolio of projects. McDonald’s role with Light Group, in addition to Resident DJ, was the Corporate Program Director.
In 2011, after nearly 14 years with Sasson, McDonald stepped down from his position with Light Group to explore an opportunity with Angel Management Group (later Hakkasan Group) to be their Program Director and Resident DJ for their upcoming projects in Atlantic City. After nearly three successful and productive years in Atlantic City, McDonald returned to Las Vegas to launch The MAC Agency in late 2016.
