About Michelle Romero Consulting
Recently retired from the City of Henderson after 25 years, nine of which as the Redevelopment Manager, Michelle is now a consultant specializing in Redevelopment, Community Development, Planning, and Economic Development.
Michelle is certified as an Economic Development Finance Professional and holds an active American Institute of Certified Planners designation. As a manager, Michelle led a team of professionals who changed the face of Downtown Henderson (Water Street District), and other maturing areas in the city. She managed all activities of the Redevelopment Agency and the five Redevelopment Areas, which include Downtown, Cornerstone, Tuscany, Eastside, and Lakemoor. The Redevelopment Agency works to create economic value, encourage reinvestment in blighted areas and establish an environment where the private sector will invest in the future of the City.
