THE FIRST AND ONLY ORIENTAL MEDICINE UNIVERSITY IN NEVADA OFFERING A MASTER OF SCIENCE IN ORIENTAL MEDICINE (MSOM) DEGREE
Founded in 2012 in the state of Nevada, the first state in the United States to grant licenses to practitioners of Oriental medicine, Wongu University of Oriental Medicine is the first and only Oriental Medicine school in Nevada approved to grant a Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine.
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Wongu University of Oriental Medicine is to educate students to become skilled Oriental Medicine practitioners who possess compassion and integrity.
PROGRAMMATIC GOALS
1. Advance the practice of Oriental medicine by increasing the number of competent, licensed, OMD practitioners.
2. Provide students with a historical and modern OM curriculum and a thorough experience in the clinical skills required for the safe and effective treatment of patients.
3. Serve the community with access to OM healing therapies at the Health Clinic and conduct educational programs for greater awareness of OM.
