In 2023, 72 lives were lost to domestic violence in Nevada, and in 2024, that number was 49. These tragedies did not only claim the lives of intimate partners, but also family members, bystanders, and new romantic partners.\n\nOn October 21, 2025, we will gather to honor the lives taken by this ongoing epidemic at our annual free Domestic Violence Vigil. Please join us at Proctor Judicial Park—named in memory of our co-founder, the late Honorable Ken Proctor—for an evening of poetry, moving survivor testimonies, guest speakers, and a candlelight ceremony.
