A fun lead-up to Halloween, Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada is hosting its Boo-A-Thon Bowling Tournament on Oct. 19 and Oct. 20, 2024, at the Santa Fe Station Bowling Center. Team play options are from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday OR 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
During the Boo-A-Thon, participants can show off their bowling tricks and treats. Teams are comprised of five people, with each participant raising at least $100 per person. Costumes are encouraged. Bowlers and other attendees also can win prizes by purchasing raffle tickets.
Prizes will be awarded for the best team and individual costume, lane decoration, and top individual bowler. New this year, the top individual fundraiser will win the Boo-A-Thon Belt and a $50 Visa gift card, and the top team fundraiser will win the Boo-A-Thon Cup with each team member receiving a $25 Visa gift card.
Bowlers can register their teams at https://secure.qgiv.com/event/boo-a-tho2/ which includes unlimited bowling for two hours, shoes, a variety of food choices served buffet style, and prize opportunities.
