Event Description
I CAN BE = Integrating Career Academies by Networking Business & Education. We need volunteers to support this program, whether it’s you or fellow industry peers at your respective companies.

Event Details:
- Mission: To expose students to the wide range of careers available in Southern Nevada by connecting them with real-world industry professionals.
- Date & Time: Friday, October 17 | 6:45 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
- Location: Pinecrest Academy – Cadence
- Format:
- Career fair-style event in the school’s auxiliary gym
- 800+ students expected to attend
- 50–65 industry professionals grouped into ~18 career clusters (aligned with LVGEA’s Workforce Blueprint 2022)
- Students will complete assignments to interact with at least three clusters
- Scholarships awarded for the most compelling reflections, supported by the Arnold Lopez Memorial Scholarship Fund
