As part of the museum’s annual December to Remember series (November 28 – January 9), this special Community Showcase invites guests to enjoy a festive day of science, culture, and community at the museum. On December 6, visitors can explore a mix of activities that include interactive science and cultural stations, live performances, creative art experiences, photo-worthy moments, and more. Community partners and guest artists will help bring the museum to life with engaging experiences for visitors of all ages.
Programming will take place throughout the day, with different activities scheduled at various times.
This special day is included with regular museum admission or membership. Activities and supplies are available while they last.
The museum will also be hosting a seasonal toy drive in partnership with Critical Care Comics. They are collecting new toys for children and teens, from infants through late teens, to help restock their supply for future hospital visits. Guests are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy or show proof of purchase from the designated online wishlist (click event link for details).
Guests who bring a new toy or show a receipt from the wishlist equal in value to museum admission will have their admission covered by their donation.
