Event Description
This family and pet-friendly event occurs annually to bring our Southern Nevada community together. This fall, the Las Vegas Walk/5K for ALS will take place at Craig Ranch Regional Park on Sunday, October 18th. Our event features wheelchair-accessible routes, an ALS Resource Fair, live entertainment, refreshments, and a Festival Zone packed with activities for all ages. We host the region's largest gathering of walkers, runners, passionate supporters, and furry friends! Spectators, volunteers, and corporate sponsors are all warmly welcome.  As the only non-profit in the state dedicated to supporting individuals living with ALS, community backing is paramount. Your participation provides critical funding for essential care services, vital public policy initiatives, and cutting-edge research. Contact us at info@alsofnevada.org today to lock in your opportunity to get involved!

Details
  • Anyone and everyone can become part of the fight against ALS by joining a local WalkALS. All Walk routes are wheelchair accessible and Walk Day activities include something for all ages!
  • There is NO FEE to participate in the WalkALS but fundraising is encouraged. Funds raised contribute to local care service programs, advocacy and global ALS research. Walk participants can raise anywhere from $100 to $100,000 dollars - the sky is the limit!
  • Anyone can register individually or create a team and then invite their family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers to join the movement. Each person will have access to their own personal fundraising page and online fundraising center and they can reach out to their networks to help broaden their reach and impact. All the funds raised will be credited towards the team. Walk Teams and their fundraising efforts drive the success of a Walk. More team participants means an increased opportunity for fundraising and increased awareness of ALS.
