Cathy graduated from Roosevelt University with a Bachelors's degree in Psychology 2003 and went on to pursue a Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology at National Lewis University in 2005. Following this was a second Masters Degree of Arts in Forensic Psychology from Argosy University in 2009. Her work experience includes psychiatric hospitals, emergency room, the Department of Corrections and Parole Division, contracted military, school, and private practice. She has authored two books relating to her work and the topic of psychology.
Caitlyn enlisted in the United States Army in 2015, where she served as a combat photographer and later as a chaplain's assistant. She medically retired in 2019. Her time in the military has shed a light on the need for consistent, reliable mental health care among those who have served. She aims to provide a space where top tier mental health treatment is the standard. Her vision is to foster a sense of security and safety within Henderson Counseling Services for fellow military, veterans, first responders, and the surrounding community.

Every client will receive a customized treatment plan that is based on a mutual understanding of goals that lead to your personal healing and emotional success. We provide a variety of treatment modalities including, but not limited to: psychoanalytic therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing(EMDR), play therapy, solution-focused therapy, and court-mandated treatment.
