About HopeLink of Southern Nevada
HopeLink of Southern Nevada
Founded in 1991, HopeLink of Southern Nevada emerged from a necessity to transform the pervasive challenges of poverty, which trap many families and seniors in cycles of hardship such as unemployment, hunger, and homelessness. By shifting what is considered 'normal,' HopeLink strives to elevate individuals from these crises through innovative solutions and dedicated support. Officially recognized as a full-service Family Resource Center by the State of Nevada in 1996, our organization extends its outreach across the Las Vegas valley, providing vital assistance and fostering self-sufficiency.
Services Tailored to Empower
Our comprehensive array of services includes emergency and inclement weather shelters, supportive and community housing, nutritional and senior services, as well as educational programs that offer free classes in financial literacy, parenting, and life skills. HopeLink also hosts community resource fairs and provides tax preparation services through the VITA program. All our programs require client involvement and accountability, ensuring that the assistance provided not only meets immediate needs but also promotes long-term stability and dignity.
