About The Geary Company
Like many great Las Vegas stories, it all started with Elvis. In 1969, Elvis’ manager Colonel Tom Parker approached Dick Geary to promote the King of Rock ‘n Roll’s Las Vegas shows—and The Geary Company Advertising Agency was born. With the help of then-attorney Bill Boyd, Dick Geary incorporated the firm in 1970 as more entertainers began to take notice and signed on with Geary Advertising—including the Queen of Disco, the Chairman of the Board, a Knight, a Captain, an Outlaw, some Village People, and dozens more artists from rock, country, pop, R&B, Motown, Broadway, and comedy. We branched out quickly, working with clients in a variety of industries including real estate, media, dining, financial, consumer goods, automotive, professional sports, personal services, legal, medical, destination tourism, and public service, including ongoing work for several non-profits in Las Vegas.
