THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED - HDA Mixer This event has been postponed. We will advise with additional information once the event is rescheduled.
Join us for an informational HDA Mixer: An Introduction to Haas Automation, True Economic Diversification in West Henderson.
Approximately 279 acres in west Henderson was purchased by Haas Automation, who plans to build on the land in three phases. Haas Automation is the largest tool builder in the western world and is also known as part of the Stewart-Haas Racing company, a former sponsor of NASCAR driver Tony Stewart.
The phases consist of building an educational campus to help with the career paths of future engineers and factory workers with College of Southern Nevada helping in the curriculum, a site for sale or lease to Haas affiliates, and space for retail outlets and other types of businesses.
“We looked at several locations and Henderson stood out as a natural choice for Haas’ first major expansion since the company was founded in 1983,” said Haas Vice President Peter Zierhut.
Haas Automation is projecting that these plans should create 2,500 jobs within 10 years. more info...
