From September 1-30, 2026, the entire community is invited to explore the intersection of culture, science, and innovation through special programming honoring Hispanic and Latino heritage. This year’s celebration launches Woven Throughout History – a new series exploring cultural values, beliefs, and stories expressed through textiles. Programming includes an artist residency by Aleida Castro focused on the science of textile-making, cultural storytelling connecting tradition to innovation, and a spotlight on Hispanic contributions to science and technology.
