GOODWILL OF SOUTHERN NEVADA THRIFT STORES TO SUPPORT CATHOLIC CHARITIES OF SOUTHERN NEVADA IN APRIL
Care-to-Care nonprofit fundraising program invites Goodwill customers to support local causes
Goodwill of Southern Nevada’s (Goodwill®) yearlong 50th anniversary celebration continues with an April fundraising campaign that will raise up to $10,000, and no less than $5,000, for Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada (CCSN), a nonprofit devoted to providing food, shelter, and comprehensive services to those in need.
The in-store fundraising effort is part of the Goodwill Care-to-Care Nonprofit Fundraising Partnerships program, which invites Goodwill thrift store customers to contribute a dollar or more at checkout to support both Goodwill training scholarships and a monthly local
nonprofit organization.
“Goodwill is proud to offer a wide range of no-cost services for people facing barriers to employment,” said Goodwill of Southern Nevada President and CEO Rick Neal. “Through our partnership with Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, our customers will extend their generosity to those facing similarly daunting challenges.”
“Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada offers help and hope with dignity as we strive to meet the diverse needs of men, women and children in Southern Nevada,” said CCSN President and CEO Sara Ramirez. “Funds raised at Goodwill stores will help us provide services to no- and low-income individuals and families, as well as those experiencing or at risk of homelessness.”
Goodwill thrift store customers can contribute to Goodwill and Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada programs of service by donating a dollar or more during checkout.
