LAS VEGAS – Nevada State Bank (NSB) has released the latest episode of its podcast series,
“Through the Door: The Insider’s Perspective on Running a Business.” In “Episode Seven: Blue Collar
Principles,” Jared Lawson, Managing Member of EarthSculpt, Karst Construction, and RSP Plumbing,
shares his inspiring journey from laborer to successful entrepreneur. Lawson delves into the challenges
of the construction industry, the importance of honest communication with employees and clients, and
the strategies that have propelled his businesses to thrive. He also offers valuable lessons for aspiring
business owners, highlighting the significance of passion, resilience, and strategic planning in achieving
long-term success.

Jared Lawson, born in Miami, moved to Las Vegas in 1980 and has witnessed the city's dramatic
growth firsthand. A graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, with an accounting degree,
Lawson began his career in construction at 14 and quickly rose through the ranks. In 2002, he co-
founded RSP Inc., which has become one of Southern Nevada's largest plumbing contractors. In 2011,
he expanded into landscaping with Spring Landscape LLC, and later, with the help of his wife,
established Karst Construction LLC. Lawson attributes part of his success to his dedication to hiring the
right individuals and fostering their growth. Outside of work, Lawson is passionate about the outdoors
and actively volunteers in the community, including with local schools and Scouts BSA.

solutions, these conversations are designed to spark new ideas and insights.
