Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas Announces New Board President

Chan Lengsavath Joined the CASLV Governing Board in 2022.

Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas (CASLV), a trailblazer in national education, is proud to announce Chan Lengsavath as the charter school’s new board president. 
Lengsavath  joined the CASLV governing board in 2022. He is a certified public accountant and a licensed attorney. His accounting career started in 2001 and he has been licensed to practice law since 2012. He received his bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting and juris doctorate from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He has served as the chief of Tax and License Division at the Nevada Gaming Control Board and has over 20 years of gaming experience.  
 
“It is a distinct honor to serve as president of the board of Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas,” said Lengsavath. “I am committed to upholding CASLV’s mission of academic excellence and responsible governance. With a strong foundation in both accounting and law, I look forward to continue working collaboratively with my fellow board members, school leadership, and the broader community to ensure continued success and advancement for our students.”
 
All regular meetings of the CASLV's Governing Board are open to the public. Students, families, staff, and community members have the right to attend and observe these meetings. Opportunities for public comment are also provided during each meeting, allowing individuals to speak on agenda items or other matters within the Board’s jurisdiction.
