Beer, Wine, Spirits and Fashion Event Benefits Local Students
--Junior Achievement’s Bottles for BizTown & Fashion for Finance Park on Oct. 10-- -- Event date named “JA Day” in honor of nonprofit’s Inspiration Center opening--
Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada invites the community to an evening of flavor, style and philanthropy at JA Bottles for BizTown & Fashion for Finance Park in support of needed financial literacy programs for local youth. The city-like designs of the nonprofit organization’s signature programs provide an ideal setting for attendees to stroll and enjoy libations and gourmet bites. The event is Friday, October 10, 2025, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Junior Achievement Inspiration Center, 4440 E. Tropicana Ave. A special VIP ticket provides early entry at 6 p.m.
Guests will enjoy wine, beer, and spirits from partners including Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits and Frey Ranch, along with appetizing offerings from Via Brasil Steakhouse, Loaded Empanadas, and Urbane Café. More drink and restaurant selections are being added.
Junior Achievement held a popular Bottles for BizTown event earlier this year, leading to its expansion with a fashionable new twist called Fashion for Finance Park. This component will feature a fashion show from Las Vegas-based couture designer Sondra Falk Couture who is known for classically styled and elegant formal, evening, and bridal apparel. She will share her creative process about how each design goes from idea to implementation.
A silent auction with several unique packages, including dining, sports and entertainment options, will round out the festivities.
The evening also offers an opportunity to tour Junior Achievement’s one-of-a-kind, experiential learning spaces: Betty’s JA BizTown and JA Finance Park. These interactive environments – complete with storefronts, businesses, a City Hall and park, and other town standards – immerse students in real-world financial literacy lessons, from budgeting and managing a business to career readiness and entrepreneurship.
Bottles for BizTown & Fashion for Finance Park proceeds will directly benefit thousands of K-12 students and young adults reached annually through Junior Achievement’s hands-on educational programs. These initiatives equip youth with the tools they need to manage money wisely, stay in school, and pursue meaningful careers, bridging the gap between classroom learning and the real world.
The event also marks the first anniversary of the Inspiration Center’s opening, which will allow Junior Achievement to triple its student impact to more than 60,000 students with its financial education, workforce readiness and entrepreneurship curriculum. As a result, the City of Las Vegas named Oct.10 “JA Day”.
“Bottles for BizTown & Fashion for Finance Park is not just a fundraiser, but a celebration of our community, our mission, and our students,” said Michelle Jackson, president and CEO of Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada. “As we mark the one-year anniversary of the Junior Achievement Inspiration Center and the recognition of October 10 as JA Day, we look forward to people joining us in raising a glass – and a paddle – to brighter futures for Southern Nevada youth.” Ticket information for Bottles for BizTown & Fashion for Finance Park is:
General Admission: $125
VIP Admission: $175 (includes early entry at 6 p.m., access to a reserved VIP lounge with seating, specialty tastings, private tour and more)
