Lisa Sutton Gunderson is a real estate investor, entrepreneur, and venture capitalist. With a background in business litigation, she began her career working in a top Las Vegas law firm before launching and scaling several companies, taking them from $0 to millions in revenue, across various industries including real estate, baked goods, and mailbox rental/retail shipping. As the daughter of a U.S. Air Force Vietnam War veteran and wife to a U.S. Air Force F-22 fighter pilot, Sutton Gunderson is a strong advocate for military and veteran communities. She is currently a General Partner of The Veteran Fund, a venture capital fund that invests in veteran-led companies, which as of November 2025 has invested over $16 million in critical technology ventures. Sutton Gunderson was the first Miss Nevada of Asian descent and remains actively involved with local nonprofits, serving on the boards of the Young President’s Organization (YPO) Las Vegas chapter and Nevada Policy Research Institute.
