Join Shooting Stars Foundation this April for our Dine for a Cause fundraiser in honor of Autism Awareness Month. Throughout the month, community members can support local autism initiatives simply by dining at participating Henderson restaurants on select dates. Guests are encouraged to mention the fundraiser to their server so a portion of proceeds can help benefit families and children in the autism community. America’s largest touring arachnid exhibit has arrived at the Las Vegas Science & Natural History Museum – only for the summer! Produced by Little Ray’s Exhibitions, the Englestad Foundation Traveling Exhibition Series: The Art & Science of Arachnids is a limited time, interactive exhibit that celebrates the fascinating world of spiders, scorpions, and their relatives. From hands-activities learning web-weaving and silk science, to learning the Tarantella Dance and enjoying macro photography, museum visitors will get a chance to dispel myths about arachnids and learn about conservation and the important role they play in our ecosystem. 

Exhibit Highlights: 

• Live Arachnids - Observe fascinating species up close in safe, educational displays 

• Giant Sculptures - Marvel at larger-than-life arachnid art installations 

• Stunning Artwork - Explore beautiful pieces celebrating these misunderstood creatures

The Shooting Stars Foundation Autism Charity Golf Tournament is an annual community fundraising event dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by autism. This tournament brings together local businesses, community leaders, and golf enthusiasts for a meaningful day on the course, combining friendly competition with purpose.

Proceeds from the event directly support Shooting Stars Foundation’ mission to provide resources, advocacy, and services that promote independence, inclusion, and improved quality of life for individuals on the autism spectrum. The tournament features 18 holes of golf, on-course contests, raffles, and opportunities for sponsorship and community engagement.

Our goal is to raise awareness, foster inclusion, and create lasting partnerships while making a tangible impact for families in our community.

Join us for Dinking for a Difference, an exciting pickleball tournament at Chicken N Pickle! Teams will compete for prizes and bragging rights, and guests can take part in a raffle featuring great prizes. Whether you’re playing on the court or cheering from the sidelines, this event promises fun, friendly competition, and a meaningful way to support families in our community. 

Tournament Participant tickets are $100 per person while Spectator tickets are $50 per person. All ticket holders will receive an exclusive event-branded t-shirt and food as part of their registration. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit S.A.F.E. House and help provide safety, shelter, and supportive services to survivors of domestic violence and their children.
