our Heroes in Aviation bring their “superpowers” of curiosity, innovation, courage, and determination. These “superpowers” enabled humans to
achieve flight from the centuries-old vision that we could fly just like the hawk or the eagle on the winds. From Leonardo da Vinci’s flying machine
sketches to the Wright Brothers' successful first flight, to Billy Mitchell’s passion that “America must become an Aviation Nation,” to our exploration
of space; our deep seeded pursuit to go faster, farther and higher is grounded in our Heroes in Aviation “superpowers”. From concepts
inspired by curiosity and innovation, we used courage and determination to ride a rocket ship into space and return safely to Earth. Our Heroes
in Aviation built on the previous heroes’ triumphs and learned from their failures. Our inspiration, dreams, and pursuit of aviation excellence have
constantly changed because our Heroes in Aviation used their “superpowers” to advance humanity, even in how we fight our wars.

Aviation Nation 2025 is a testament to these heroes and the opportunities taken.
